"meet her" is mostly about the hypothetical of Hermès actually meeting Layla, but THAT JUST HAPPENED IN-COMIC, OOPS. i thought this might happen, haha. they actually did end up meeting by the water though, so it's fine.
i like Hermès as this enigmatic figure of wind, rain, and waves, fished from the sea, leaving something behind in it. there's certainly something tragic about him, but, a quiet power, too. i spent so much time trying to match him with his RC counterpart i really missed out on HIS personality for a while there... i came around, though. i can't wait to find out more about him!

the "meet her/hermes" sounds only connect if you butcher his nickname like i do.
